A system requirements will describe all of the elements that the owner and stakeholders have all agreed needed to be included in order for the system to operate in the manner that they would like. This information was gathered through interviews and observation of the current system.  Requirements Modeling  Outputs:  -System record and generate customer receipt for items that are purchased  -Monthly report of all transactions  -System needs to generate an inventory report  Inputs  -employee must input data into the database system  -If paying in cash, system should allow employee to enter the payment into the system as a purchased item  Process  -the company™s database should be updated with inventory  -the system should be able to save customer™s information including preferences and history  Performance  -system needs to be available 24-7 365 days  -parts of customer™s info should only be accessed by authorized users  Control  -an option for customers to make their payment by credit/debit card. This needs to be encrypted.
