Written_Assignment_Unit_5.doc Unit 5: MBTI Profile as a Leader PSYC 1205 The INTJ Personality Type as a Leader University of the People PSYC 1205: Emotional Intelligence I cant say that I have never considered what it would be like to be a leader. In my life, there hasnt been a time I have ever really wanted to be a leader. While leadership roles are important not everyone is fitting to these positions. Some people are meant to lead where as others favor to follow or even just remain on their own. For some people it isnt that they would make a bad leader, they just dont feel comfortable or pleased in these types of positions. It takes a specific type of person to fit well inside leadership roles as well as enjoy them. Being a leader isnt for everyone and that isnt a bad thing. For some people it just doesnt feel right having to command other people and be the one to keep them all organized and focused (Humanmetrics. n.d.) (NERIS Analytics Limited. n.d.). From what I have read so far, INTJs are frequently viewed as natural leaders since they arent afraid of taking control. For the INTJ being in leadership roles is much more comfortable than being someone who follows others. For the INTJ being someone who can get things done on their own terms is crucial, but sometimes they have to work with a team. Being the leader is often more comfortable for the INTJ than having to tail someone else,s lead. INTJs are focused and tireless people and they will do what it takes no matter what it takes to carry out
