Unit 2 Discussion: Energy
It is time to take on the role of a scientist. Do not look up the following information, just use your imagination. Do not concern yourself with being wrong or right.
Think of three examples of energy that you encounter in your life on a daily basis. Identify whether these are potential, kinetic, or heat energy, justifying your identification. For example, you might say that a book balanced on the corner of a table is potential energy because it contains energy that will be released if something causes the book to fall. Discuss how each of these types of energy is useful to us in our everyday or work lives.
