Moods, emotions, and attitudes affect the environment by either keeping employees motivated or possibly demotivating them; I have come in to work in a bad mood that had become a better mood after, and there have been time where my good mood was spoiled by the work environment. When I had worked in a clothing store years ago, I had one coworker that was always in a bad mood; the moment they walked through the door, one can feel their negative energy and already feel drained. My then-coworker would always bring their problems into the workplace and seemingly already be unwilling to put the effort for the day; The sudden negative energy would slowly bring down my positive attitude, as my own attitude can change dependent on how the environment around me is. I would attempt to brush off the negativity and work to stay positive myself so that it would not affect my work or my attitude. Unfortunately, there were times where I would feel less motivated and more inclined to just do the work to make the time pass, and my workday would seem more like an awkward environment that I would want to escape from rather than working to get my tasks done to the best of my ability.  Strategies for Motivation  First and forem
