Each condition is able to improve or worsen the individuals™ health. The origin of most factors come from physical environment, poverty level, and ethnicity rather than from personal choices. Examples of social determinants of health include income level, educational opportunities, occupation, employment status, workplace safety, gender inequity, racial segregation, food insecurity and inaccessibility of nutritious food choices, access to housing, and utility services (Schroeder, Malone, McCabe, & Lipman, 2018). SDOH have a great impact on every person health. That is why it is so important for the nurse to evaluate SDOH for every person that is provided with the healthcare (Faulkner, 2018). The interviewed family™s health is discussed in this paper. Several SDOH also impact their health. They can be separated on SDOH that have positive effect on the family health status and also on SDOH that have a negative effect.
