Now assume that you are the manager at Sharp discount and you need to decide whether you want to consolidate two queues or not. To answer this question you estimate that waiting in line for customers, is costly for you in terms of dis-utility of customers and you evaluate this cost as $5 per hour for each customer. You need to pay $10/hour to each server if you do not consolidate the two servers and you need to pay $25/hour to the faster server if it consolidates the two queues. As the manager, do you prefer to consolidate or not?
