CIS 375 Week 2 Assignment 1

            In today’s society, the way in which we physically interact with electronic devices is changing how we focus our technological research. Technology plays a vital role in our society and people are using new approaches every day to make changes in daily life. “We are now witnessing the emergence of a new user interface for digital devices, including laptop computers, advanced cellphones, wireless portable data gadgets and other types of computing products.” In the past, various devices were interacted with the use of mouse driven technology which are changing now. These changes have led to many great advances, including the development of touch screen technology. “Touchscreen-based interactivity has rapidly progressed from being a desired feature to an almost mandatory requirement for displays utilized in all manner of equipment. Vending machines, home appliances, vehicle control consoles, and industrial instruments increasingly feature a touchscreen.”
