Milestone_3.docx    Sociocultural Evaluation and Draft of Program Evaluation  Southern New Hampshire University  PSY 632: Developmental Psychology    Sociocultural Evaluation and Draft of Program Evaluation  Sociocultural Evaluation  Indicators  The HALO Project was created in 2013 to help Oklahoma foster and adoptive parents who were tired, frustrated, confused and ready to quit because traditional parenting methods were not working.  So, HALO was developed to heal these families.  The children enrolled in HALO have experienced abuse or trauma at some point in their life.  HALO™s mission is to œheal children from hard places in need (HALO Project, n.d.).  HALO accepts families from all cultural and ethnic backgrounds and socioeconomic status.  They offer scholarships for those who cannot afford to pay up front or their insurance is billed.  HALO is based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  The therapeutic model that this program uses, TBRI, is utilized throughout the US in many schools, residential treatment facilities, and foster and adoptive homes (Purvis et, al. 2013).TBRI stands for Trust-Based Relational Intervention. There is no information on HALO being established in other parts of the US, just the utilization of its therapeutic model, TBRI.  If HALO were to be established elsewhere, it will provide opportunities for other families to see the benefits of what HALO has to provide and show them that there is hope and to not give up.  Effectiveness  There is not much information that can be
