This law must be considered and complied with when doing business in Mexico to avoid any legal issues. -The Labor Laws in Mexico are like that of US labor laws, but there are some key differences to consider before moving the company there. Examples are profit sharing, unionization, mandatory year-end bonuses, and seniority premiums (Velocity Global, 2018). -World Trade Organization (WTO) Regulations regarding trade between two nations would be applied to the company™s expansion into Mexico. The WTO attempts to standardize the procedures that countries use to maintain the quality of a product, and Mexico has adopted these regulations. There are typically œaround 900 new or changed regulations each year (Understanding the WTO, 2020). -The Foreign Corrupt Practices Act of 1977 (FCPA) applies to the expansion into Mexico.
