A smaller chance to breath bad air. This small individual filter can be easily replaced. Air filters usually cost between $8-$20. They are fairly inexpensive. The new addiction of the air vents will not change the structure of the car. The steering wheel will have a small detachable vent for filters to be easily removed to be cleaned. By having small filter recycled filters, we are saving money, having chances to clean it more often and also helping the environment by recycling products and not disposing them.
