IT302_Unit2_Green.docx IT302 – Human Computer Interaction Purdue Global University Part 1: Interaction Framework Human-Computer interaction is the basic relationship or communication between a user and a device. The execution evaluation action cycle or EEAC, gives us results from the point of view of the user when using an interface. This cycle consists of four major parts which are goals, execution, world, and evaluation. The goal portion of the cycle is the phase where the user defines what is to be accomplished. The execution portion is when you form the intentions of the interface and start selecting actions required to meet the goal. The world portion is where the goal is trying to be performed at. Finally, the evaluation portion Is where the designer evaluates the outcome of whether the goal was reached or not successfully("The seven stages of action", 2017). An example of Normans HCI Action Cycle in my workplace would be the transfer of offices and phone numbers within my organization. The goal was set that 3 different offices would be switching, and they wanted to keep their own phone numbers. The intention was when I created the excel spreadsheet with all port numbers and phone numbers to put the ticket in to have everything switched. I put the ticket in to our tech team which was a physical action for me. I also followed up with the tech team via phone call to make sure they understood the intentions. Finally, I evaluated the outcome when the technicians told me the ticket was clos
