Students were working as a group to identify the different questions asked about the book provided. For the post- assessment students were given a worksheet with a short passage that included questions about identifying the topic. it gave students different choices to choose from. With the answer, they had chosen for the topic they were asked to provide proof from the passage. The students participated throughout the activity. As a class, we have gone over an example that helped them get a better understanding of the proper ways to complete that activity. Beginning of the activity being able to ask students questions on vocab words and identifying the topic to know where their understanding was. This allowed me to see where they were sitting and how I was able to assist each student in their learning. I had four students, two were below level, and two students had IEPs. One of the students that weren't in my small group seemed unfocused due to being unmedicated. He struggled to stay in his seat and started to become a distraction to the group.
