Prepare a list of reasons to present to a board to justify the addition of staff to the programs you manag    Prepare a list of reasons to present to a board to justify the addition of staff to the programs you manage, or programs you are familiar with.  This is a case of me building my case to justify staffing (Wroblewski, 2019). As a head baseball coach there are multiple positions that I would need to hire for. At the college level there will be a need to have the best players to generate income for the program. This income generated will not reach the levels of football or basketball levels but any income help the bottom line.  This will entail hiring multiple coaches and support staff that will ensure we provide the best product on the field that will bring fans to the park and put people in the seats.  When running a top notch baseball program you will need to have coaches that are knowledgeable and are great recruiters. We will need a minimum of three paid coaches and one volunteer coach. We will also need a director of operations, a program assistant, and a video coordinator. We will also need a tutor who travels with the team due to the amount of class we miss while traveling for games. We will also need to hire a strength and conditioning coach. We need this coaches to specialize or be position specific. For example, we need an infield coach and we need an outfield coach and also a pitching coach. Having position specific coaches allows us to spend more time working on the fundamentals. The more time spent working on the fundamentals means a better product on the field wh
